Meet Gary Barber | Executive Leadership Team

We’re excited to kick off our Executive Leadership Team spotlight with Gary Barber, Title IX Coordinator & Director of Operations – Southern Region.

Gary brings decades of experience in K–12 and higher education to his role, from science teacher and football coach to superintendent and college VP. A first-generation college graduate from Youngstown, he leads with empathy, accountability, and heart—overseeing school operations, staff development, and student-focused initiatives like farm-to-table dining. “New Leaf is a place where you’re not only allowed—but encouraged—to lead with heart,” Gary says. 💫
