Mary Snell
Mary Snell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of New Leaf Organization, where her leadership has shaped a legacy of innovation, inclusion, and student success. With over two decades of experience, Mary has co-founded five credit recovery charter schools that have collectively graduated more than 5,500 students—many of whom were previously disengaged from traditional education.
Her leadership is grounded in real-world experience and a deep commitment to building student-centered systems. From designing data-tracking programs to developing 21st-century learning environments, Mary’s contributions have strengthened New Leaf’s statewide reputation for excellence. Under her guidance, the organization has achieved exemplary status in Ohio and is known for its fiscal responsibility and holistic approach to student development.

PETER BARTKOWIAK
Pete Bartkowiak is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of New Leaf Organization (NLO), a dropout prevention and credit recovery charter school network. With a heart for service and nearly two decades of leadership experience, Pete brings passion, strategy, and student-centered solutions to NLO’s operations. Inspired by his own journey through adversity, Pete is committed to creating pathways for students to reclaim their futures. Since co-founding NLO in 2020, he has helped expand its reach to five schools and over 5,500 graduates. Pete holds a BBA from Urbana University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.

Sasho Dojcinovski
Sasho Dojcinovski is the Chief Academic Officer and a founding member of the New Leaf Organization (NLO), a dropout prevention and credit recovery charter school system. With 19 years of experience in education, he oversees curriculum, grants, and program development, helping students earn diplomas, build job skills, and improve their quality of life. Sasho has led four successful school turnarounds and played a key role in establishing five Dropout Recovery/Prevention schools across Ohio. He is known for his collaborative leadership, student advocacy, and commitment to continuous growth—for himself, his team, and the students they serve.
